History

1967 - Buffalo Jills were established and founded by JoAnn Gaulin
1986- Buffalo Bills contracted the Buffalo Jills to third parties. Various contracts through the years with local companies. Mighty Taco, Salvatore's Italian Restaurant, 97 Rock, Citadel Communications, etc.
1991- 1994 - Superbowl years cheering for the Buffalo Bills
1995 - Buffalo Jills formed the 1st NFL Cheerleaders Union. This allowed for new opportunities at local, national and global levels without NFL restrictions for appearances
2000- 1st Buffalo Jills Swimsuit Calendar edition, sold annually with each new season
2002- Creation of the 1st Buffalo Jills Ambassador Squad, created to meet the increasing demand for requests at public appearances
2007 - Buffalo Jills were the only NFL Cheerleaders on tour in Iraq visiting troops from 2/22-3/4
2008 - Buffalo Jills were the 1st NFL Cheerleaders to be multi-nation, performing at home games in Orchard Park, NY and at Toronto, Canada
2014 - The last season for Buffalo Jills auditions, 35 squad members were selected for the new season.
2016- Buffalo Jills hosted the 3rd National Football Cheerleaders Alumni Organization Reunion
Current- The Buffalo Jills Alumni continues its long standing traditions of active involvement in the local community, attends monthly meetings, annual celebrations and attends both local Buffalo Jills Alumni and National NFL cheerleaders Alumni reunions
